Hartford City Hall and Elizabeth Park Engagement Session

You can feel the excitement bubbling up, and not just from the Champagne that would soon shower the cement floor. As they prepared themselves to open up a moment of excitement, they held the bottle and could see the anticipation growing between them. Looking intently at each other as they smiled with a joy filled expression on their faces, pop went the cork and out came the laughter.

One thing that really drew us in to this moment was the way laughter seemed to be a part of their unique story and something they both held dearly. How beautiful it can be to have something as common as laughter, yet more valuable than gold. Witnessing and appreciating that moment of laughter and joy they both shared really spoke to us on the importance and value of what we sometimes think as the simple things. It’s in these moments where we really see what is meaningful in life and in our relationships. How wonderful it is to be loved and to love someone with such openness and appreciation. Keisha and Chris really do share an openness and genuine appreciation for each other that makes falling in love look effortless.

Many beautiful things could be said about this story session but what stuck out the most to us and what really highlighted their relationship was the genuine laughter and joy they shared for each other. It was the effortless way in which they spoke and held each other. We feel honored that we were able to capture their story and are so thankful that we get to shoot and film something as beautiful as their love story.

Keisha and Chris, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to tell your story. Being able to witness the two of you and hear of the genuine appreciation you both share for each other and the laughter you gift each other is a joy for us as well. It is in these moments that we are reminded how powerful it is to find that special someone in your life. We are so honored and excited to get to share such a special time in both of your lives.
